 ★ MAIN EDITION ★

Hi Subscriber, Here's what has been happening on the Forum recently. Don't forget, you can now post without having an account.

Important News About Your Subscription

There are currently three editions of Metal Type email newsletters.

From April 1 this year subscribers to this email (the Main Edition) will start to receive the other two editions detailed below.

Each edition will have its own unsubscribe link

 ★ MAIN EDITION ★
The Main Edition has details of new articles on the site, new Forum postings, new stuff added to the Library, latest eBay auction highlights, etc. and is published every 1-2 weeks.

 ★ LATEST ADVERTS ★
This edition sends out details of the latest adverts that have been posted in the Free Ads section. Frequency depends on the number of adverts posted.

 ★ EBAY EXPRESS ★
This edition gives you details of the carefully-selected eBay listings featured on the Forum as soon as they are posted. Frequency up to 3 per week.

Each edition can be unsubscribed from separately. So, for instance, let's say you aren't interested in the Latest Adverts email. You can unsubscribe using the link in that email, but you will continue to receive the Main Edition and eBay Express emails.

Re: Model 31 long reeds
Go to archive.org Search for Linotype and download catalogue 51.  Don't use the waybackmachine search. A lot of the rods are the same but there are differences you need to keep them in order. If it is equipped with the first channel e then that rod is different

Model 31 long reeds
Does anyone know specific to the model 31 if the keyboard activated long reeds are all the same? - in my older parts book which does not include the 31 it looks like each of them has a different part number which would indicate to me that they are all different - i have not removed any yet but i can't see any reason why they would need to be - part parts that activate them and the parts they active i have out and cleaned seem all the same

Re: Introduction - And pics of my Composition Caster
