Is anyone out there casting with Nebitype matrices on a Ludlow?

Nebiolo claimed that the mats were compatible, but I am not sure whether a special stick was required.

If not, does anyone have a Nebitype in operation (in Europe)?

Well I'm not in Europe but I have a Nebitype (NTC) which will cast from Nebitype, Ludlow and Linotype slugs.    There's a magical combination of sticks, slides and

The Print Museum in NZ has the Nebitype Ultra-E, which is a much newer machine and sounds a lot less like an industrial grinder than mine...

Thanks @simontee, I've seen your page! But I was hoping to find someone closer to me.

Well, I see now that my original question was not clear enough.

My problem is whether a special stick is needed for casting with Nebitype matrices on a Ludlow, not the other way around.

Does anyone have any insight on that?
