OK, I will try. There is a popular TV show in Flanders, called Fata Morgana. They have people doing things that seem impossible. Their theme for July 22 was Belgian Constitution Day, in commemoration of official Belgian independence on July 21, 1831. So Fata Morgana found quite randomly 5 persons from a small village called Bornem to perform 5 "impossible" tasks, the most interesting being an edition "the way it was done in 1831" of a local newspaper, the "Bornhemsche Gazet". With a Monotype Caster, and a cylinder press, of course we were not even close, but 2 milion people (one third of Flanders' population) watched the show and the existence of a group of volunteer printers in the Museum of Industrial Archeology in Ghent.
Unfortunately, letterpress is far less popular on the Continent than in England.
