Issued on 22 June 2015 to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Penny Black stamp          (Guinea)

Part of a souvenir sheet this stamp shows the Jacob Perkins press used to print the stamps

Although this issue was authorized by the Guinea postal administration, it was not sold in Guinea, but only distributed by the Guinea philatelic agency Stamperija for distribution onto the philatelic market. Due to this and the fact that this item was excessively produced makes it of little to no philatelic value.

This seems to be a recurring theme.......stamps issued just for overseas use as a means of generating income for the country concerned (see previous two posts).
