Harrild Pullman galley press / letterpress / absolutely mint museum quality RARE.

For sale, made by Harrild of Farringdon, this is a completely original PULLMAN press, in exceptional mint museum quality.

Solid cast iron frame, main roller in great condition, inking carriage and plates all in place, good rubber, inks nice and smooth.

Everything is perfectly balanced, the machine is beautifully designed and manufactured, a beautiful interior design piece, a fabulously distinctive piece of furniture and a fantastic rare piece of letterpress history.

Was used for many years as a proofing press for a local newspaper in the midlands, until technology made it redundant. With the resurgence of interest in letterpress machinery, presses like this have become real collectors pieces. This is very likely the only one of its kind in the world, certainly in this condition.

Its a shame to let it go, but house move forces sale unfortunately. If I had the room I would be keeping it as its such a beautiful object.

Due to size and weight, buyer must collect. Main roller, inking carriage and plates can all be removed to make transportation a bit easier. The frame is a single piece of cast iron.

A stunning object either as a collectors piece or someone looking for a letter press / galley press.

Its in my studio in south east london.

Item must go. Would be a tragedy to scrap it, but i can't take it with me!
