rare and original Monotype matrix case featuring the classic Baskerville typeface in 11pt size.

This is the Outside case, traditionally used in conjunction with the Monotype Composition Caster, and follows the Scheme 4A layout. The case is labelled clearly as "Baskerville Outside 11", and appears to be in very good condition.

These matrix cases are increasingly difficult to find complete, especially with such a widely loved serif typeface and at this size. Ideal for letterpress printers, type collectors, or typographic history enthusiasts.
