Rare R. Hoe & Co letterpress type cabinet with cast foundry type or varying size and font. 20 solid, working drawers with dividers and wood knobs. Printed on the side Patent Case Cabinet, R.Hoe & Co, New York, NY. Stamped on drawers, Patented May2d, 1871. R.Hoe & Co.

This cabinet is in good condition for an 1871 hand made type cabinet. It has a beautiful patina and all drawers are solid and functional. All have dividers have brass reinforced corners. Type is a mix of sizes and fonts. Can negotiate price if you do not want type. Back of the cabinet is fairly open so you would want it against a wall. This keeps it from being too heavy so it is easy to move.

Pick up only unless you arrange freight including boxing.
