This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of printing history. Looking at these old presses, one can't help but wonder about all of the different jobs that were printed on this machine & about the many individuals who ran it.

The Lightning Jobber was manufactured from 1897-1902, this press is roughly 125 years old.

From what we can tell, the press is capable of printing a sheet size up to 7x10".

The press is missing its chase. If you were planning on using it in production this would need to be built. Of course, the rollers would need to be recovered.

We are selling the press "As Is". It would make a great exhibit price for a front office or could potentially be put into service for letterpress work. We make no claims about the true production abilities of this press. As you can see in the video, the press operates smoothly.

The machine can be picked up at our facility in Birmingham, AL or we are happy to pack it up & load it onto a provided freight line.
