Seller's description:

Vintage printing block from 1949 would make a great Christmas card illustration or an invitation to a Christmas dinner or party.

 I have included in the photographs a print made from the block (so you could better see the image) but I just used an ordinary ink pad  not printers ink which would have made a better image. The image features Santa serving dinner.  The image is 4" x 3", the same size as the block.  ( I read a description of letterpress blocks and I'm not sure this is exactly that material - that's why I put a question mark in the title of the description.)  It is backed with wood as the letterpress blocks are
