Very Rare Antique 1900's Herbert Fitch & Co Advertising Cast Iron Paperweight*

Seller's description:

A very rare antique cast iron paperweight advertising Herbert Fitch & Co. The paperweight, which is rectangular, measures 10.7cm x 7.2cm x 2.5cm and weighs 1,050g. On one side you can see the company details; the other side is flat. The business was first established in 1870, but in 1879, after several years of increasing trade, they moved to 30, Bury Street, London E.C. They were a notable firm and ran a reputable business as manufacturing stationers; known for their commercial and artistic letterpress and colour printing and also known for inventing and producing advertising novelties.
