Merry Christmas from Metal Type

I'm kind of embarrassed that I didn't do a better job of stringing Christmas lights on Lilly the Linotype. I had started the morning with intentions of adding lights first thing.

I started making the rounds through the shop in "start-up" mode turning the all the hot type caster crucibles on, then plugging in the Nolan remelter, then scoring Christmas cards before moving on toward the foil stamping...

Eventually it was 4 am before I realized it and headed for the door only to realize the brand new string of Christmas lights were still in the box. Ok...so just one more thing. I hastily threaded the lights through areas I thought would survive a machine cycle, snapped a pic and headed home.

On arrival I quickly uploaded to Facebook...Pic only, no message, and went to bed. When I woke up later that morning I saw where it was getting some play. I'll do better next time.😎
