The following is a loose translation from Dutch to English. I'm imagine that there has been improved methods of producing typefaces since this movie was made.

This film is from a VHS tape from the audiovisual archives of Tetterode. A 1984. film about the creation, of the alphabet and the development of the letters. The film also covers the manufacturing process of an original type design to be use in the Linotype phototypesetting machines.
