Looking through my files I found these photographs of a M/8, which I fully rebuilt in my works in the 1960's.  This is a very early machine, I guess1906/08 as it still has a cross flat belt drive to the disser.

What was interesting with this machine it had a split mould slide lever, one turn of the scroll would change the machine from English to American type height, I believe this a Star part.
