I ran across this stained glass window photo, honoring Ottmar Mergenthale, on Flickr. It was taken by Thad Zajdowicz on July 26 2011. It is in two parts. The first part includes Mergenthaler and the second an old Eagle printing press.

Stained glass window from the late 19th Century at the Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows on Navy Pier in Chicago. This section honors Ottmar Mergenthaler, who invented the linotype process for printing newspapers. Thanks for stopping by.
