Do you think Rupert Murdoch would cherish a Linotype like this in one of his Offices? Maybe with the skulls of a few NGA members attached as souvenirs?

Boy, doesn't that make you want to walk in with some graphite and oil and go to town...?

Looks almost as good as that keyboard Dan Williams did up for me last year!

Browsing through Flickr (it's my last night shift for some time!) I noticed this very pampered Linotype.

Scant info about it on the Flickr site but it appears to be a display piece in the front office of the San Jose Mercury News.











It reminds me of an old 1960s American car!
