Monotype Shareholders List

This is a  bit off-topic, but it might be of interest. Many years ago I bought from a bookseller the original shares log book of the Monotype Company.  It lists all the original share-owners in the company. (One whom I remember was Mary Mapes Dodge, the author of Hans Brinker; or, The Silver Skates.) I gave the book to the Smithsonian years ago, and it's there if anyone ever needs to look at it.

This guy is rather busy with digitizing lots of rare but interesting things, books, periodicals and more. Scanning it all, that makes it possible to share it on line.

I would like to get more people involved in this. Nobody can have all, but together we might be able to make a lot available on the internet.
