Despite being essential technology to their operations, newspaper and magazine publishers rarely inform their readers about the technology behind the process that regularly delivers their content to readers. It's a bit like leaving children to believe milk comes only in cartons. An interviewee on the radio today was describing how a dairy farmer's wife he knew preferred milk out of bottle rather than straight from the cow much to he husband's chagrin.
