Printle: A Printing Word Game from Metal Type

I enjoyed this article in The Atlantic: Eisenhower and the Skinny S

It reminded me of my time working as a Lino op at the South London Press in the 1980s. House style was for the name of the paper to be set in italic text. As most of the mats we used were just Roman or bold on the shelf each machine had three logotypes spelling South London Press in italic. They dropped out in the little tray near where the space bands were returned. They were handy, and saved the operator the embarrassment of spelling the paper's name wrong!
