A couple of power station cooling towers were demolished recently here in Yorkshire. The Tinsley Towers were in Sheffield and they built one of the UK's first (and busiest) motorways, the M1 just yards away from it on stilts. Needless to say the motorway (which can be clearly seen) needed to be closed!

I just love seeing things being blown up (maybe I should have joined the Army!). I love the way the towers stop half way down!
