[Mechanic]

Today I ran across an invitation to a printing trade show. I would have attended but it was over. It took place on October 1, 2009.

Over the years I have attended a considerable number of printing trade shows and taken part in workshops. Mainly this involved getting on a plane to the States and or Europe and paying a small fortune to listen to manufactures tell us why we should consider their machines to set type or print our products etc. I have been on both side of the picture, both as a promoter and as a potential buyer. However to attend this one I could register for free, and the equipment would have been brought to me through the virtual world on my computer.
