(Introduction) 'The specimen sheets in these books show sizes of type to be cast from three classes of matrix: 1. Composition; 2. Large Compo- sition; 3. Display. In the case of Large Composition and Display sizes, the class is indicated above each size of type. Composition and Large Composition matrices are arranged in the matrix-case according to the unit values of the characters comprising the fount. This allocation of unit values to the characters in a fount is identified by a Unit Arrangement (U.A.) number which is shown above each Composition or Large Composition size...'

Condition: Very Good. All titles are used and show shelf ware consistent with age. Light rubbing to cover. Light tanning to outer edges of interior pages.
