Intertype Cigar Cutter

I recently (Feb. 2025) featured this item on the eBay Listings part of the Forum Intertype Cigar Cutter - New York, USA



I'm not sure what it is. Maybe a cigar cutter? The large oval Intertype logo just visible on the first picture would suggest that it was made by Intertype themselves.

Rocky Baranowski, who sent in the pictures, reckons they date from 1900-1915.

Another Intertype collectable has been put up for sale on eBay.

It's a great hourglass timer for keeping track of those long distance phone calls!



Unfortunately the seller is asking a lot of money for it. They will consider offers though.
