Fleet Street Pub 1960s - video
Printing and pubs, what a great combination! This video starts with an un-named pub in London's Fleet Street that had a display of printing memorabilia. My favourite has got to be the sign above the gents toilets.

I managed to repair broken teeth like these but I did so not by repairing this part, instead inserting pins into the steel bar (M-2485) that this part attaches to. See my blog post for more details.
Re: Solving metal accumlation on pump rod
The sleeve is F-6193 on page 104 of Catalog 52 Casting & Driving. If you toss slugs in the crucible, rather than feed ingots you'll find this is an acute and recurring problem. Feeding clean metal is the way to avoid it.
