Heating elements
Does anyone out there have a pair of heating elements for an English "British Rototherm" Monotype pot? The Rototherm is the name on the outside of the box attached to the pot. Will pay, of course.

Re: Monotype pot element replacing
Thanks for the replies. To be clear, the posts on the end of the elements for wire connections in the box were damaged. Too damaged to attach leads to them. That is the reason for replacement, not how long it takes to heat the pot.

Re: Monotype pot element replacing
It is needed to clean your pot at least one time each year. Take all molten lead out, and remove all oxide from the wall of the pot and the heaters.

Monotype pot element replacing
We have to replace both elements in a working English caster. Any hints? The pot works fine, but the terminals are so bad that there is no way to keep wire attached to the ends of the elements. We do have, courtesy of Ed R., new elements.

Re: Russian Linecasters
There are some unusual linecasters on this Instagram post. Starting with a green Neotype, then an Elektron, followed by a German Quadriga. It's like the United Nations!

Re: Ludlow Typograph - video
Check out Dave Seat's website online, which has links to many resources. In particular you should try and get hold of the book that Jim Parish wrote, which is great help for trouble shooting.
