An amusing poem written by Frank Granger.<\/p>\n

all the sentences started with lower case.<\/em>
\nThe 3 em indent was way two much space.<\/em>
\nThe Futuria type was very, very bold,<\/strong><\/em>
\nAlso not the face the customer was sold.<\/em><\/p>\n

Of linespacing theree was plenty.<\/em>
\nWho’d ever heard of ten on twenty.<\/em>
\nFrom the word shirt they dropped a letter.<\/em>
\nShe would tell you, it could be be better.<\/em><\/p>\n

The ink was green – it should have been red,<\/em>
\n“Here’s another P.E..” someone said.<\/em>
\nThere were more typos here than one could guess.<\/em>
\nOh, how did it ever get to press?<\/em><\/p>\n

A million impressions? Already delivered?<\/em>
\nAnd still more mistakes. She only quivered.<\/em>
\nMaybe. It was someone else’s goof?<\/em>
\nNo, her were here initials righ on the proof.<\/em><\/p>\n

The proofreader awoke, and set up in bed!<\/em>
\nOuch! What a feeling she had in her head!<\/em>
\nBut what a relief, it was only a dream,<\/em>
\nAnd from now on, no more pickles and ice cream.<\/em><\/p>\n

Note: <\/strong>This poem is full of intentional Printer’s Errors or “P.E.’s.” Educators might present this to a proofreading class to see if the students can catch all the mistakes.<\/p>\n
