Font ID help

Printle: A Printing Word Game from Metal Type

Can anyone identify this typeface for me?   I think it may be French Clarendon.   Thanks for any suggestions!

I would say that the cap G looks quite different.

TRYLON, I immediately blurt out...but thats only because its similar to that #2 cabinet, center case font, from the old shop. Thats a font I miss.

I've done a quick search for "Trylon" - in an attempt to get a pic of the font posted up on the forum - but drew a blank.

Is it definitely spelt correctly - or did it have another name? These old fonts usually have a digital version lurking somewhere on the web.

I think your typeface is called Playbill, I have forty eight point Playbill and the ampersand is a perfect match
