Like newspapers, magazines are wilting before the onslaught of television, video on demand and the internet generally. Curtis Publishing's stable included the Saturday Evening Post, Ladies Home Journal, Country Gentleman, Holiday and Jack and Jill. is a behind the scenes documentary on how these publications were produced. Ponder the number of jobs which have gone, yet it is still not profitable to convey similar content when all those jobs have been replaced by digital technology.
