In similar vein to previous post. Issued on 5 September 1980       (Switzerland)



A postcard of the stamp used as a First Day Cover with the stamp stuck on the front.

Issued on 19 April 1991 to celebrate 350 years of L'Imprimerie Nationale, the French Government Printing Works
     
If you look carefully at the stamp there is a portrait of Gutenberg



An accompanying First Day Cover has a press on it

Issued on 14 May 1969 to celebrate the bicentenary of the National Press      (Portugal)

The stamps show King José 1, promoter of the press & coat of arms







The accompanying First Day Cover shows the coat of arms in a bit more detail and you can make out that the eagle is holding a composing stick and what appears to be ink balls

Issued on 16 December 1940  100th Anniversary of Bulgarian Book Printing     Nikola Karastoyanov, the first Bulgarian printer           (Bulgaria)

Issued on 26 June 1893 to commemorate 400 years of printing in Montenegro, the Principality of Montenegro did not miss the opportunity to celebrate this important event, and issued a commemorative series of stamps. Specifically, this release consisted of the preceding regular issues which were overprinted in Cetinje with: "Printing House Anniversary 1493-1893".            (Montenegro)

Although there are no print related images on the stamps, these are the oldest stamps that I know of to celebrate printing or the print industry

Issued on 4 April 1981 to celebrate bookbinding this stamp shows a binding press.      (France)



The First Day Cover shows a bookbinding press in operation



The stamp also appears on this First Day Cover from October 1981 which celebrates 500 years of Gutenberg and shows a printing press

Particularly rare test note, even scarcer in this version with the serial number
