Kostandin Kristoforidhi, was an Albanian translator and scholar. He is mostly known for having translated the New Testament into Albanian for the first time in the Gheg Albanian dialect in 1872.

Isaiah Thomas,  (1749 - 1831), was a radical anti-British printer and journalist who published the Massachusetts Spy from 1770 to 1801. He was instrumental in starting the Revolution and once the new nation was founded he became its principal and most successful printer, publisher, and bookseller.
