Appeal for Australian Linotype Info

Doug Wilson, of "Linotype: The Film" fame, is currently researching the history of the Linotype in Australia and would appreciate some assistance from the Metal Type Forum.

Says Doug: "I'm looking for any information about how the Linotype was sent to Australia in the early days and the history of the Linotype in Australia."

If anyone can shed some light on this subject for Doug, please reply to this post. It could be a link to an online article or book, or anything else that you think could be useful.
