Hi all, Can any of you out there tell me if the nozzle alignment gauge is any different than the base of a stripped down composition mould?

I seem to have left mine in my other pants. I'd appreciate any & all information.

Thank you.- Terrence

Hi
The alignment gauge is a flat cast plate with I think two positions for nozzle alignment.

It is about 3/8" thick and is far better to use than a dismantled  mould as you can see the approach of the nozzle as it rises into position to make sure it engages correctly.

These are the parts you need to align and Centre your nozzles.

Many thanks. I have a squaring post and I'm happy to report all was right (angle) in the world. Without a proper cantering plate I improvised with a mould base in hopes it would diagnose whether or not I've an issue with the nozzle seating correctly. It appears I do from the likes of this footage. you can see the nozzle approach from the side as I'm only raising and lowering the pot. Thoughts?
