DRUPA is the trade fair that evolved fron BUGRA the print trade show held in Leipzig. After the end of the Second World war Leipzig was in East germany

The first DRUPA (Druck and Papier) was in 1951, although pre-war, there were many industry trade fairs held in Leipzig under the name 'Bugra' (Buch and Grafik). Post-war the name changed to DRUPA and the trade fair relocated to Düsseldorf
