Here's a nice video, from Sven Olaf Nelson, running us through a project he has created for Metroparks Toledo.

Interesting that he used Benedictine Book for the project, mainly because it was a fount that hadn't been digitised.

The Linotype machine is something I've started to learn and use. It's an invention that dates back to the late 1800s in an effort to speed up the process of printing specifically for typesetting and redistribution of type. In this Adventure in Letterpress, Sven Olaf Nelson, letterpress printer and designer uses it for the #5Poets5Parks postcards created for ‪@MetroparksToledo‬ and the second annual poetry reading in celebration of National Poetry Month 2025. It walks through the letterpress process to design, typeset, and print the 5 different postcards for each of the 5 Ohio poets: Lydia Babcock; Darren Demaree; Adrian Lime Sandra Rivers-Gill; and Ohio Poet Laureate Kari Gunter-Seymour.
