Monotype Phototypesetting machine. 1972

This typesetting machine, bought in 1972, is from analogue days. There's not a chip in it and everything is electromechanical. It comes with two fonts - Univers and Times New Roman. It was used regularly to produce captions for use in cartography until about 2005.

24 inches deep, 36 inches long and about 20 inches tall.

It's heavy.
