Printle: A Printing Word Game from Metal Type

Dave Hughes

Jimbo sent in this pictuire of his current Linotype restoration project:

Says Jim:

Have instructions to fire up the pot when Pat is an hour away to save time. Makes sense to me. Put everything new into it, a few rollers which were slightly worn replaced, almost new rheostat on which all the numbers work (wow).  He didn't like the one I was using as 1 or 2 spots didn't work but was still a lot better than the original one which was welded so many times as to be almost non-adjustable. Giving me a new mold disk which is cut for adv. mold so can cast 24 point spacing - don't know of anyone around me that has or is using a strip caster anymore (I've sure looked).
