I have recently been approached by a lady who is interested in finding out more about, and possibly selling, the Linotype-related items pictured.

























I thought the space-bands looked quite interesting, and possibly brand new.

The matrices, look like they could just possibly the contents of various "Pi Trays" all put together!

The second post photo shows what numbers we are looking at, but since we are looking at the bottoms of the mats, no idea of what letter the sorts represent.

Sally said some of the mats have symbols on like hearts, skull and crossbones! etc.

I think they are definitely the contents of several "sorts" or "pi" trays.

She is trying to get some better photographs showing the characters.

I did a rough count of what I have.  I have about 200 or 300 more that are miscellaneous and not included in this list. Any info on them is much appreciated.
