Printle: A Printing Word Game from Metal Type

Recently posted on Metal Type Classifieds, this Model 36 Linotype has been on display at a newspaper in Florida.

The "side table" appears to be a turtle.

Well, the Model 36 is a wide channel mixer with four side magazines -- although I cannot see the very top of the machine the front clearly shows the double channel entrance to the belt, making this a Model 35.  My guess is that they misread the "5" for a "6" in that this, while still a massive machine, isn't the monster that a true 36 is.

And if I lived closer I'd probably try to add it to the collection.  Not that I need another machine or anything . . .

Tjtrower is correct it is a model 35. It looks in reasonable condition except that the galley support bracken is broken and the tray is missing.
