Monotype Collection Survey

Hi there, I'm emailing to ask if you'd be able to answer a short survey which aims to collect thoughts on the future of the Science Museum Group's Monotype Collection.

Monotype transformed printing and publishing worldwide. Its faster, cheaper, advanced technology led to mass market Penguin paperbacks and newly designed typefaces like Gill Sans and Times New Roman.

Although inevitably superseded, much of Monotype's legacy of typography and technology is encapsulated in the Monotype Collection, held by the Science Museum Group.

The Science Museum Group has commissioned Cultural Associates Oxford to explore the next chapter for the Monotype Collection. How might new generations use the Collection? How might it inspire creative practice? How might it contribute to teaching and research? We'd like to hear your views.
