Great video showing the production of the Los Angeles Times newspaper in 1973.

There's some TTS typesetting (including a machine that used OCR to read copy and produce TTS tape), and some early photosetting machines.

Rather drawn out video. By the time this video was made the ITU in the USA no longer existed. The press union was a separate entity and was happy to print newspapers produced by automated typesetting methods rather than being rekeyed and typeset by Linotype or TTS operators in the composing.
It is an interesting historical production that shows the initial introduction of automation in newspapers.
