Printle: A Printing Word Game from Metal Type

Dave Hughes

I've received the following enquiry from J Stafford Baker:

Quote

Does anyone know the whole of a poem called 'Sevenfold Splendour'

Some lines are:

It rattles and whirrs,
It gutters and slurs
It runs at a speed that amazes.

Something something

The brakeman gets drawn in and killed.

This was in a Graphic Arts Students Association booklet printed at L.S.P. Stamford Street about 1956-7

I want to reprint the darn thing, (letterpress of course).

Can anyone help?
