Victorian Die-Cut Trade Card - The Printer    1880's

The Woolson Spice Co., Manufacturers, Toledo Ohio (manufacturers of Lion Coffee), were pioneers in the placing of Picture Cards in Package Coffee, having originated the idea and first used it. These cards were placed in each one-pound package of Lion Coffee.







The cut-out boy was designed to fit in a slot so he would appear to be operating the press






The cut-out girl came with an alternative dress
